Inquest into the death of a pneumonectomy patient who became critically unwell several days after surgery. Subsequent to his anaesthetic for an exploratory thoracotomy, he suffered a cardiac arrest alleged to have resulted from oesophageal intubation. The inquest evidence traversed numerous medical experts. Acted for consultant anaesthetist.
